Kitchener local office after Bill C6

Did anyone receive interview or oath invite after taking the test?

Hey ! I applied as family august 2019 still waiting for a slight update ! But nothing so far :(

I got my tracker status updated today and I am scheduled for an interview on June 24th. Haven’t received the email yet. Would have been best if I had gotten oath invite instead of interview call lol

What is your current status? Are you done with the test?
 
I am August 2019 applicant with Kitchener office. No test invite yet. Does anyone know which month they are processing now?

This is so sad and it appears there is nothing we can do but wait. I called CIC and they said everything looks fine about my application and that they will send an email to Kitchener to ask if there is anything they want from me. Hopefully, they can start processing our applications soon.

Yeah same here .. they are very slow here in Kitchener

Wrote them and got this reply today:

Dear applicant,


Please advised that your application remains in queue to be scheduled for a citizenship test/review by a Citizenship Officer or Agent/citizenship ceremony. Due to COVID-19, Kitchener IRCC remains closed for in-person citizenship services. OPTIONAL: if additional documents are required the Officer or Agent will reach out to you directly.

Sorry, this was based on the call I made to CIC because they told me they will contact Kitchener office.
