Well here are my numbers:

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 9, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 21, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on January 29, 2019.
And I haven't received a test invitation yet :)

you should receive a test invitation by Dec, 2019!
 
Hi, my app was received Oct 15, 2018. I received my test invite today for Oct 28th.

My mother is very sick, and is currently hospitalized. I planned on visiting her out of country, but now the dates overlap with 28th test day.

I am curious if anyone has experience rescheduling your test invite with Kitch Office? I'm not sure if my reason is acceptable. I'm also curious, if you applied to reschedule, how long did it take? thanks.

You can definitely reschedule and your reason is a valid reason. Email them ASAP.

Thanks, I never heard back, so I wrote my test today, will go home for a visit shortly.

App received: Oct 15th, 2018
AOR: Dec 20th, 2018
Processing: Jan 17th, 2019
Notice for test: Oct 7th, 2019
Test: Oct 28th, 2019
Ceremony: Jan 3rd, 2020

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing. I'm assuming they scheduled your oath right at your test/interview? That's awesome!

Didn't hear anything until now for test invitation.

I have received finder prints request. Just wanted to have idea how much delay will it add ? ideas ?
I am planning to have it done and sent on Monday Nov 04 2019.
App delivered: June 5th 2019
AOR: Aug 21 2019

Still no test invitation! :(. I am going to be away from December 10 to January 6th... by Murphy's law they wil likely schedule my test then... :_(
