Hey, in my opinion, this thread was created to track the applications of everyone who applied around the same time. Me being there is also a bit of a stretch, but all applicants here applied within 3 weeks of each other. By the time your application moves to IP, we'll already have a few citizens and this thread will eventually die out. Personally, I have no issues adding you here but it probably won't add much value due to different (and faster!) processing timings for you.
 
@luckyb how was your citizenship test and interview yesterday? If you could share every detail it would be much appreciated.

Hi, happy to report that I see ‘decision made’ on ECAS.

Test was easy, and interview was quick. Just review original documents

Nothing specific, i was told could be couple weeks to couple months, because of lacking citizenship judge.

Ask me to watch from invite, that was it.
 
A Kitchener IRCC applicant here, and my application status is as follows:
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 19, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 8, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on December 14, 2017.
  4. We sent you a notice on February 15, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 1, 2018 at 9:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
  5. Decision made on Mar 2, 2018
Has anybody with a similar timeline gotten their oath ceremonies?
Link to the spreadsheet? Just want to project when could I get my oath.

Likely not. Others here who had DM on Mar 2 said that the wait for oath would be 2-3 months, one person said 'weeks to months'.

How was your test today? Any thing you can share with us? Was there also 20 to 30 people doing test today?

Btw, it seems the office has not sent new tests invitation for a while.

Yup :( I was ok being patient before but now that i see progress with people who applied with or around me, I'm getting impatient lol.

Hopefully we see some progress again soon..
