My application sent 2nd November and received on 6th November.

Thanks a lot for the update. I appreciate it. Mine still says "App received" and my AoR was issued on Nov 23rd. Hopefully we get into processing soon.

My friend and I sent our applications from Waterloo together on October 11 in separate envelopes. Both were received on October 13 at the same time. My friend got his AOR on Nov 14 and I got mine on Nov 23. My friend’s app’s status changed to ‘In Process’ on Nov 27, while mine still says ‘Application received’. I’m in the spreadsheet, but my friend is not as he is not on this forum. Here is his timeline, if someone would like to add him.

Any updates about October applications placed into processing?

I applied from Waterloo. Received Oct 12th, AOR Nov 15th. No IP yet. :(

It seems Kitchener office has either received a lot of applications or turned into a very slow office. :(

Hi all,

Happy to share that I got AoR tonight at 8.49 pm for all the family members

It seems Kitchener office has either received a lot of applications or turned into a very slow office. :(

I know it's always been a little slow but not this slow. I'm hoping it'll be soon if not now, we should probably get it in the next 30 days or so.

Any update regarding IP at Kitchener office....

canada4us2017 reported recently that he had got an IP dated 29 Nov, based on an AOR of 2 Nov.
My AOR was 3 Nov and I've not got IP yet, so I'm running a couple of weeks slower than canada4us2017 so far. I'm obviously hoping for something soon :) but I guess there is a lot of work for them to get through at the moment, and we can't easily predict their workflow.

I wouldn't use the AoR date of other applicants as a reference to track your application. Nobody knows how CPC-S forwards applications to local offices, maybe you received the AoR one day before another applicant but your application went to the very bottom of the transferring files, thus you may go into processing at a later date.

True; we can't easily predict their workflow from one IP, encouraging as it is, and my application might be much more or less straightforward than someone else's.
I don't think I'm the only person on the forum to examine the time taken on the spreadsheet and start pondering when it might apply to me :)

If I take a more sceptical approach, then I actually have a way of predicting the dates of any test or ceremony invitations with pinpoint accuracy, since my employer wants me to spend a few days in other provinces in 2018.

I used ti predict my AoR, and other requests from IRCC when I applied for PR. However, due to this random thing that is happening now with citizenship applications, I gave up!

I created this thread just to give us hope when someone from Kitchener and surrounding areas receives correspondence/status change from the local office.

I agree well with pepe84...

I am now joining the waiting group - AOR just came in today. Apparently I am not gonna see in process until after new year. I hope you guys who had AOR earlier than me get it soon, even before Christmas.

I am hopeless, I doubt we get something before the end of the year. Kitchener local office has become in fact very slow at this time.
