Yes, we shall wait. Also, in the list we have three people getting "in process" status before end of November, however it seems that only @canada4us2017 is an active member, while another two either doesn't come back here (@CanadaApplication126) or is shared through someone else (@AA_UW). The next in process date then jumps 2+ weeks to mid December, so my guess is @canada4us2017 should get test invite first and then it will come down to others in the list. Anyway, we should keep waiting and things will certainly move (and as shown in process status has been constantly given out since mid December).

Either some of us will get a test invite with him/her or our invites are at least 2 months out.

It looks like it is really slow in that case. That means he has waited for more than three months for test invite. Let's hope the office can figure out something to get it going faster.

Maybe they are waiting to have more applications to then start sending test invites? My guess.... I will receive my 2nd GCMS notes this week which were requested after my "in process". I will post here any relevant update I may find. So far, no test invite yet for me.

the time between IP --> TEST INVITE for a File which is being processed at Kitchener Office is : [Noticed this Pattern from Jan 2017 to Dec 2018 ]

MIN: 7 days
MAX: 65 Days,


Test Invite Letter Date - Oath Date [Skipping the Oath letter arrival]
MIN:45 Days
MAX:135 Days


MIN and MAX results are Driven from Observing those applications Timeline who have their file processed in Kitchener. Someone actually got their Oath letter after 2 months and the oath date almost a month after.

Also, they consider verifying the Tax statements on each file which is "in progress", by contacting CRA, as everyone gave their consent.So, I assume they might be waiting for everyone's information to be checked out and to send the Test Invites at the same time so that they can be conducted on a particular day. However they might not wait for long on one single application where the information is delayed.

I also noticed that , people who applied in a particular month and who has their file being processed in Kitchener has their processing dates almost close to each other ..but they didn't update their test and oath dates to make sure whether the invites are sent to everyone at once, so that they can process them as a batch.

This being said and a huge rush of applications after Oct-11-2017 they might be overwhelmed with bulk of work which they might have not anticipated with , which is a hard scenario to consider as IRCC has mentioned last summer that they are recruiting new candidates in anticipation of this, might be the reason why Kitchener office processing time line is bit slow when compared to other offices.

Once Again , this is just my understanding and I might be wrong and hopefully we all may get Test invites much earlier too..

Thank you for digging into the past data. From what I have seen, though, that data points from last 12 months were really limited, probably only a few from Kitchener and one or two from Waterloo and/or Cambridge (those that have dates till oath). I don't know if I have missed some data in the sheet, but from what I saw I cannot really make any guess in terms of how long it will take from IP to test invite. I am actually a bit worried that there has been no test invite date recorded in the forum since maybe July or August last year, but again there was not many data to begin with anyway.

While I am still waiting for my IP status (started getting stressful again like when I was waiting for my AOR), I really hope the early birds in the sheet who has been in IP for (nearly) two months get test invite soon.

Hey folks, I got my latest GCMS notes today (requested after my "in process" date). The only relevant thing is that got my "in process" on Dec 18th, but my application was "in transit" from CPC-Sydney to IRCC Kitchener on December 20th (2 days after my in process). However, CPC Sydney did request my criminality records to RCMP on December 18th, which makes me conclude that this is why I got my application switched to "in process" on Dec 18th, but this doesn't mean the application had arrived to Kitchener on that day because according to the application history on GCMS system it was still "in transit" on the 20th of December.

That's all I have, keep us updated from your end.

Amount of data for KWC office is very limited; not sure if any conclusion can be drawn out of it.

Probably all we can do for now is to keep this topic updated if one gets any info about processing in this office. Looks like majority of Oct. applicants from KWC region are now in IP stage. Let's stay positive for a few more weeks .. If no progress by then, we'll then have a good reason to worry.
