Good to see some progress today. Just an FYI for those asking whether test invites and oath letters are sent via email or physical letters, I personally asked IRCC Kitchener on the date of my interview whether we will receive emails or physical letters for the oath invitation and they confirmed that effective February, 2018 IRCC Kitchener will no longer use physical letters to invite applicants for citizenship testings or oath ceremonies. They will only send emails to all applicants to appear for citizenship testing and oath ceremonies from the following email address: IRCC.DNCitKITScheduling-ConvocationKITCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

You may wanna add this address to your contacts to prevent any of their emails going to the spam folder.

Thanks for providing some useful tips. Btw, I recall you didn't see your test invitation on eCAS the next day after you received test invite. Did it eventually show up? It's not important to you anymore but just curious (I guess it did show up at a later day).

No, it never showed up . I did ask during my interview and they said there is no problem with my eCAS and all boxes were ticked. Apparently they have to tick some boxes on the GCMS system (they said they ticked on "print to eCAS") to be able to see it on eCAS but I was never able to see the test invite on my eCAS. They also blamed the fact that they switched to email correspondence recently and that may be the issue, but anyways they were not sure about it. However the next day I saw decision made and when I clicked on the underlined status it sill shows 3 lines only (the last line being the date they started processing).

You should get an email eventually. If you don't get an email within the next 24 hrs, please ask IRCC Kitchener

I agree with you. I got FB on Jan 10. BG check completed three weeks ago. No sign for test invite yet. looks like you lose your place in the line when you are asked to do FB. Judging by the huge number of applicants after October 2017, the two/three months delay for FB and BG check means large number of applications are ahead of us now. I don't feel optimistic about getting test invite soon. but as you said....I hope I'm wrong

Ok. I submitted my fingerprints result on feb 06th, 2018. I got the test invite already. I would suggest give them a call and ask them whether your criminal check is done or not. If it done then you would get your test invite soon.

I completed a FP request and it didn't feel like I lost my place in anything.
