Thanks CharlieD10 and Kedeisha yes 1 down 1 to go she has to land by the 9th of September we are so happy right now. We were looking at U of Toronto for her Phd in Education with a concentration on Mathematics and the learning science and was hoping this would come thru before fall and certainly it has she is also looking at Harvard so I think we will leave around the 4th from here in Florida drive to Boston on our official visit to Harvard and then off to Toronto

Hello everyone,

Thanks for welcoming me. Thank you CharlieD10 for putting me on the list. My situation is similiar to Nieka. My husband was in canada but he overstayed his welcome and he was sent back to Jamaica. They said he has to be out of Canada for at least a year. The ending of November will make it a year since he has been gone. So I have no clue when we will hear anything from Kingston. I'm hoping real soon. I did an in land application for him when he was here, but soon after that he was sent back to Jamaica for overstaying so I cancelled that application and filed an outland application for him. Now we are just waiting to see what will happen. This whole process is so stressful.

I haven't gotten any updates since April 2011. On my Ecas it says decision made. I was just wondering if that means they made a decision and is waiting until his year is up?? Does n e one Know?????

Hey MrsW, no problem, LOL, putting people on the list is what I do. Well, at least you and Nieka are now acquainted with someone in a similar position. You are also among others sponsoring or being sponsored, so some things others would never understand because they haven't been in your place will be better understood here.

Stick and stay. Together we all get through this!

The "Decision Made" you see should probably be for the sponsor, no? It is unlikely they would be finished with the applicant's processing already, knowing KG has only recently gotten around to the 2011 applications.

Decision made since April? ??? did you check to see if that was the inland application, did u get a PPR from KGN or anything? That sounds weird DM and no visa or is that the sponsorship side you see DM

Hey CharlieD10 and Kedeisha, I re-checked on my ecas and yes your right. Decision made is on the sponsorship side and on his side is application received. My in-land apllication was cancelled long time and I received my money back. I cancelled b4 they opened it.

Good morning everyone!! Hope you all who were in the bad storm last night are ok. Was pretty crazy, we had a tornado warning here but thankfully it passed with nothing.

So today I thought to myself lemme chk the ecas, when I did I noticed that mr propers address is gone from his ecas, anybody else have this happen???

Hey Mrs P, glad to hear the southern ON folks are doing well. I fretted my way through the whole thing last night, and it wasn't anywhere near me. Lightning like I saw on the news would scare me right under my bed!

Addresses disappear from eCAS from time to time, yes. I have no idea why, it appears to be some kind of system glitch, because they come back a while later.
