Psalm, the standard is an AOR within 90 days of Kingston receiving to let you know they got the file from Mississauga and this is also where they review your file and if anything is missing like by example original documents such as birth certificate or mariage certificate they will ask you to forward that to them. Now, I must be honest and tell you that Kingston is very unpredictable and some members have gotten an AOR before 90 days, some after and some never got it. The same thing applies for the document request form some were asked around the same as the AOR, some were only asked when dropping off the passport and some others were never asked for original documents. I must say to you that you can read this thread as it will give you an idea but do no base yourself on others story as every case is different and is treated differently. Some never heard nothing from the time it reach Kingston to when they requested passport so about 8 to 10 months. Congratulations on being accepted to sponsor your partner, now all you can do is be patient and start getting slowly ready for the arrival... Keep yourself busy and there is us also that are a great support!!!!!!
