Hahaha Irving, they are used to white people wandering around in the yard now after hubby's visit, so just come on in. You might need to jump the fence though, we have an automatic gate.

Ladyposh, they are blackie, the ones that keep landing on my roof. There is a common mango tree in the front yard, also loaded with fruit. I haven't seen mango trees bear like this in decades.

Chelley, honestly, several taxi drivers who have brought me home have asked permission to help themselves and I was giving them permission like it was my place and providing bags too! They are only going to waste anyways, we only have two teenagers in the complex by way of children who might be interested in mango trees, and they are girls, so I don't even know if they eat them.

Hello Ladies...

I was quiet today cause I was at work and we were short staffed so I ended up cooking all day for the whole shelter Wow I am just exhausted...

CharlieD... congrats and I will keep my fingers crossed that you hear something before the end of the week... I am glad to hear at least its an approval ;D BTW are those the mangoes with the string cause god I hate that experience even if they were so juicy and soooo good... I was mad cause nobody told me not to bite into it lol.... so if they stringy ill pass but if not I'm sending hubby over lol... look at me im getting picky lol hahahahahahahaha

Hey lonely_wife (written to the tone of mangoes dropping on my roof!), you must be glad to be finally off work, huh? No, not stringy mangoes, so you don't need to worry!

Thanks, yes, just need ODSP to get off their collective hindquarters and send back whatever it is CPC-M needs so my file can get to KG, LOL. I will be all over hubby to make that call on Friday to find out if they got it, or maybe eCAS will do something for us. Other Feb applicants are already getting visas (yes, I kid you not, some guy from New Delhi got his visa already, filed Feb 8, completed in 69 days!) and getting notices to attend interviews. I must say, the interviews are being scheduled very quickly, one Feb applicant from Turkey got a phone call that gave him 2 weeks notice! Hopefully whatever new system they are putting in is making operations more efficient.

In the meanwhile, I am still job hunting. Found something suitable in the Sunday paper and put in my application, let's see what comes of my efforts this week. I'm also passing the word through my network of former work acquaintances about doing bookkeeping until I can get some business cards printed up, hubby is doing the design for me. And I am catching up on my reading, I haven't done as much this year as I like, LOL.

Lol Charlie... I'm sending hubby over... yes thank god I am done work I cooked up a storm and since I got there I was cooking so I am feeling pretty sore right now.... Cooking for 1 or 2 and cooking for 40 is not the same lol hahahahahahahahaha anyways everyone had a wonderful dinner and they all told the boss they should fire the cook and let me cook full time as a joke... but I laughed it off you couldn't pay me enuff to do that... (not that I don't like it but I like to interact with people and not food) lol haahahahahaha

lonely_wife the weekend was not an easy one but i made it through with family the best way possible. I take comfort in knowing that this will be the last easter in the position i am presently in. Thank God for technology, since that is all we have right now as communication.

Since it's hump day, I thought this might come in handy:

Morning Everyone....I hope everyone is doing great! I myself and doing well but I am honestly hoping that KGN does some wonderful things today....Its been 2 weeks since they requested hubby's passport and I am hoping that they will send it on its way today!!!! I would love to run and book hubby's ticket for the 1st week in June as the ticket sale ends today!!!!!

Hi All,
Just a litttle update. I got an email from ecas-tracker at 3:02 am Tuesday morning saying DECISION MADE and the office will make contact .I sure hope this means visa was issued. Anyone with similar message from ecas? If yes how long after seeing decision made did they call for pp pick-up? Thanks.

congrats Ramdont!!!! I can't help with the timing... our eCas didn't update until a couple weeks after we picked up the passport... it can't be too long tho... the end is in sight now!!!
