good morning everyone, happy Monday! Let's hope we hear some news from KG this week!!
About the US visa, I have researched it before and found a website
general info on the visa, how to apply etc is here
http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1262.html
electronic visa application and appointment booking is here
http://www.consular.canada.usembassy.gov/usa_visa.asp
You have to fill out an application form, submit it online, schedule an appointment for an interview at the consulate in Toronto. Once you attend the interview, if they agree to issue the visa, you have to go pick it up 4 days after the interview (so says the website)
The website says the following about the visitors visa - documents you need to produce
B2: Visitor for Pleasure
DS-160.
Valid Passport (at least 6 months).
Proof of legal status in Canada: original or certified copy.
Older passports containing previous visas.
Documents substantiating previous legal status in U.S.
Reciprocity fee (if applicable).
Proof of sufficient funds to cover all expenses while in the U.S.
Proof of ties/residence in a country outside the U.S. which have no intentions of abandoning.
Evidence which show the purpose of trip.
The Reciprocity fee for JA on the table says "none" and the visa is valid for 120 months
Nonimmigrant visa application processing fee (non-refundable) for Non-petition-based nonimmigrant visa (B visitors) is $140.00
that can be found here
http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1263.html
I'm not sure if you need this or not, it may be a Nexus card
