For persons who ave already done their interview, what are u not allowed to carry inside the high commission, I know cell phone is one, are there any other items u are not allowed to enter the building with?

That's really it ...they take your ID and anything electronic...

It has been over 3 weeks now. I had to change my flight to go home for this friday. Praying we get the call. I found out they are working on his son's medical that has downs syndrome. It's slowing things down.

No I was wasn't able to go into the interview room. I stayed in waiting room watching the clock to see how long it was taking.

Good day lovely people. My husband had his interview last week. And I was at the interview they allowed me into the building but not the booth. He got a terrible woman, she didn't dought our relationship, but she had a problem with the fact that I travel so much. Which is 2 times a year. And also she had a issue with the fact that my husband sends me money. Asked him how he could afford it. He is a mechanic and he explained that to her and she insisted that mechanics don't make good money in Jamaica. She then asked him if I get money from the government. And he told her no. She also had a issue with him being listed as revoked on my life insurance. She gave him his passport back and told him that she would contact him by mail. Does this mean its a denial? I am devastated.

So awesome, congratulations ❤❤❤ Hubby's interview is next month and they asked him to bring 2 new passport photos with him... hope that's a good sign ☺ Best of luck with hubby's move home!!!

In your earlier post you mentioned he applied for his SIN on arrival... interesting. Was it border services/immigration who gave him that option?
