How many of you plan to buy, or already have, a plane ticket bought to Canada for after the interview? I know I've read on here of people doing that but am just trying to decide what to do. With seat sales we know we can get one at a good price and want to be together as soon as possible after the decision has been made. Wondering how the VO will regard that? Will they see it as presumptuous? Will it be regarded negatively or positively? Any feedback would be great!

We bought Hubby's ticket already. We're feeling optimistic. His interview is March 14. An we booked h ticket for March 15. That week is quite expensive fo flying out so th earlier the better. better. Don't really think vo wil se that as well something negative who wouldn't be eager to get home to their wife after being apart so long.

Hi Guys

Hubby had his interview today and got his approval on the spot. He said that the interview/question process took about 5 minutes for the approval. He had to wait for sometime for them to process the documents.

The lady asked him about 5 questions:
1. My age and His age
2. If I had kids
3. If he has kids and if they were coming with him.
4. Asked if he could leave before his criminal record expired in the summer
5. Confirmed that he has not been involved in any criminal activity since getting his record check

I would like to thank everyone for sharing their story, it was extremely encouraging to both of us. I cant express how much this thread assisted me/us in this process. I encourage everyone to prepare because everyone situation is different.

My application was received Sept 12th and sent to Kingston Nov 1st for processing. He got the call for the interview the Jan 9th, he missed the call so they sent an email setting the date for Feb 9th. That said 4 1/2 - 5 mths later here we are. This is soooooooo awesome. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Goodnight. My husband is having his interview this month and I will be there the day of the interview. They asked for his passport and proof of communication and copies of my passport indicating my trips to Jamaica do I have anything to worry about?

Did you put proof of your trip to jamaica in your package? If you didn't maybe that's why they ask....
I would bring as much relevant proof as I can for the interview.

Yes I did I sent pics of my passport pages...I don't have phone bills. But I took screen shots of IMO, what's app, fb and call log on my cellphone is that sufficient proof of communication? Also I will be there the day of the interview. Thanks for your help!
