I'm sorry to hear that. This process is so tough and stressful.

Got our denial in the mail today

Wow. I am so sorry to hear that.

I am saddened to hear about all of these denials. It's baffling to me. For those who have interviews coming up please, please, please review your application with your spouse and know it inside out. Listen carefully to the interviewer correct any incorrect statement or assumptions they make. Bring up-to-date proof of continued relationship and communication. More detailed information was posted back in October 2016 by myself and other applicants who had to have interview. I know they don't request it but be prepared anyway. I mentioned this in a post before, my hubby brought the docs even though they weren't requested and the officer commended him for taking the interview seriously and being prepared. Keep yourself current on all your documents and when they expire. If you're not sure how to go about them scour this forum there's so much information I'm pretty sure all your questions are already answered. It's a lot of work but it's worth it.

For those who are appealing decisions see posts by maddants. The appeal process can be long but I'm trusting The Lord that you'll get through in a matter of months and not years. I know it's money but get the process started as soon as possible research and have faith. I know you'll be posting soon to say you were approved and your spouses coming home. I know it's not good news for Christmas but I strongly believe 2017 is going to be great! There will be struggles at times but it'll be great!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year when they come. God bless each and everyone.

Hi all! I was wondering how I go about contacting my MP? I live in Toronto. Also some advice would be welcomed. After all that has been happening with everyone's file I am debating contacting them for assistance. The wait is driving me mad.

I personally would wait until after the 2 week wait they gave you. Does the site say decision made?

When i spoke to my MP b4 we got the decision he told me at that point he wouldnt be able to do anything to just wait for the decision and then call him back and he would talk to immigration...now after doing some research ppl are saying there really isnt much an MP can do but still call them you never know !

Look up the mp for your area, you can either call or send them an email, really not much they can do at this point especially since you're still in processing times which last time I check was 13 months (it might have changed to 12) they're just going to tell you what you already know. Good luck.

It stills says in process.... hubby feels good about the interview. But after being on here I know not to trust what they say, unless they gave visa on spot.

Hi everyone. at long last, my application is getting ready to go in. I am using the new forms and what ease it is!!! And pleased to see the new government is holding to their promise of reducing processing times to reunite family, says 12 months or less.

another area, I am pleased to see is that No more medical and police checks upfront with already high costs needed to get the sponsor and application fees in, I am happy to see that. Made sure I put dates in my planner as they will be asking for this once the file is transferred to KVO.

a question, what is the national identity document - like a drivers license or birth certificate?? I should know this, but I want to make sure, the application is error free.

Happy new Year to all and reunification for all; may It be soon.

hello every sorry to hear to about those denials so sad :(. But the latest with me i pass my driving test they should mail my full G soon ;). Adopting to the weather.

They will usually call first and then send you and email.to confirm the date and time . My hubby said it came up unknown when they called...
