Don't take anything personally as I said before none of us have control as to when we get the calls so it would be very ignorant of me for me to take it out on anyone as I stated before my issue is with the system, there's no justifiable reason why they did a huge leap like they did but it's whatever no need to keep this topic going really if I was in your shoes I'd share my good news regardless and still be happy. #Congrats

I'm praying that ur day is tomorrow too...since our dates are so close. Plus ur date is before mine...which is annoying how they aren't consistent to how they do things..but hey I won't elaborate more on that...im just praying that tomorrow ur hubby will get contacted.

Since they claim to have a new system going on, I'm wondering if those who applied in 2015 is apart of their old system and those applied this year is apart of that new system, and so 2015 has to wait for the 1 yr mark and 2016. 9months.

That's exactly what it is and its a joke. This is supposed to be a part of the family reunification process so how are they giving preference to new applications? I just think this whole system is set up to make people go insane. Prayers for everyone that hasn't got called yet.

Also being made to stand behind a glass the entire interview sounds awful and degrading and extremely impersonal. Not impressed with this process

There hasn't be one person on this forum in the past 2-3 months that got through without an interview or having to go in to KVO. Its the new normal

Im praying for all the 2015 applicants as well. My frustration is with the system and KVO, not with other Canadian spouses waiting their turn. I hope soon we can all be reunited with our families. Once its been longer than a year your patience is truly tested.

So I just spoke with my MP. I did tell him that about 3 weeks ago I ordered my GCM notes. He actually said that causes a delay to the file. Immigration has informed them before that each time notes are ordered it takes your file out of queue for 2-3 weeks. He says that the case worker on your file then has to stop. Transfer your file over to the notes person and then wait for it to come back to them. Since most Nov applicants are being called and we have not...I wonder if I choose the exact wrong time to order my notes. My MP will be emailing them for status on my behalf today. Anything that can help I will try. Stay blessed all. I remind myself to stay positive..it is our time soon
