I don't know about this doctors note thing....geez if it truly works then why haven't we all done it yet?? be careful, it may open up a can of worms you don't want to open.

highly flavoured - when did you file your application?

i really don't remember i was in Canada when i got a PR package to fill out from Kingston Jamaica I then send it back to Jamaica then on the 22/12/09 i receive from Kingston that they received my PR application and it would take six months to process then on 17/02/10 I came back to Jamaica and still here waiting

Hf - that letter was your AOR, the one you received 22 Dec 2009.

So you have been in process for a year today. Dang.

isn't this the last part? is this when they make their decision?

OMG I told hubby to stick by his phone.....it's his birthday today and it would be a WONDERFUL present if they call him for PP drop off

Wow so happy for you nae-nae, i just went to go look at mine hoping to find something but my ecas as not been updated at all and my husband b***** does not open anything on the site.... anyways it's ok our filling dates are close enough so im hoping maybe in the next few weeks i could see something.... is it your first time that you see an update on ecas since you got approved as a sponsor????

lonely wife - ecas was updated in August saying they started processing my hubby's file on Aug 4 and not again until now and would you believe his B# doesn't work on ecas still lol

oh God, I remember this happening to the other HF....I think their file was updated to medicals received and then her hubby got the call the same day....or so I think. But I still could be wrong lol

May 10th (Today) ECAS updated to Medical Results Received. I sent a text message to hubby to tell him the good news and in a matter of 20 minutes he one upped me by telling me he got the call from KG to bring in his passport Tuesday or Wednesday this week. ;D

ok I'm a stalker lol....went back on you HF and found your post. I hope to God it is the same for me!!!! OMG, hubby should be getting a call soon

highlyfavored, i just looked online on the cic.gc.ca and if i see things correctly on the site it seems to me that you maybe have a longer wait then spousal sponsorship... from what i see online it appears to me from what the site says it says 31 months wait... now dont forget if that timeframe is correct that it is the applications for the last year and also that its 80% of the applications that would be done within that time line...

I think that maybe you won't get a call so soon... which is really too bad cause i can't imagine being in your shoes... wish you the best of luck... hang in there

yea i did try the B number with my husband information but nothing is pulling up and when i look at my ecas with the receipt number it says that permanent residence application status is not available
