So we received an email that my husband's police check needs to be updated and sent with his passport to Kingston. Does this mean that the end is almost near? How long has everyone waited once they have received the passport in Kingestion?

Congrats on PPR!! it usually takes two weeks to a month to get your passport back. your journey is almost done!

My process date was earlier August 31st but my application date was later.

Anyone notice the rate of COPR at the Ottawa office? Applicants reaching the end within 2 months. Does this mean it'll soon reach Kingston VO?

I remember a few weeks ago there was a member who was asked for an interview after PPR, I'm just curious as to what was the outcome ?

We can only hope...the Ottawa office is notorious for being fast.

Hi, I just checked processing times and the total time actually decreased by a month. From 17 months to 16 months which is a head in the right direction!

Which country is that?

I wouldn't worry too much about the processing time on the CIC website it's more like a worse case scenario. Most people at Kingston VO get through around the 11-13 month range. You can check out the spreadsheet to see people's exact processing times.

True but you could assume that maybe since the total (worst scenario) time decreased by a month then people will be getting through in 10-12 months instead of 11-13.
