Thanks guys for all your encouraging words, i really appreciate it. Yes hubby sent them an email asking about the status of our application, and he got a response saying that their record shows an interview is scheduled for Nov. 22 @9am. My husband was so embarrass when he showed up and oops sorry it was a mistake. So unacceptable

The child is not a relative. We have a licence to bring child to Canada and finish adoption here.
We were approved for sponsorship.
Then were sent a Permanent Residence application Kit.
The Kit says Kingston will send medical instructions after we submit PR application.
We are sending that in shortly, however dependants can go for their medical
without waiting for instructions from Kingston. Dependants use Appendix c and go on in.
We don't know if a child to be adopted can do this? Are they technically a dependant?

I wonder if we have the same IO lol my MP sent an inquiry and the IO gave her the wrong file info....the file number was wrong, 1 number off and the file info was all wrong.

I want to extend my congratulations to Missing........... girl, it's about time! I didn't think anyone would pass my timeline. you had a long, difficult journey. It was not easy but you did it! It's over now. In just a matter of weeks, your hubby will me in your arms! I am truly happy for you!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
To answer your question: My hubby was asked to provide PP sized photos when dropping off his PP. the male receptionist told us that they were required as they also expire (he didn't specify the timeline) Because of the length of our process, they needed updated photos you know, in case there are changes in physical features or appearance. We were pissed when they called us for the p/u they asked us to bring in pictures AGAIN. Because they were LOST! ??? Then he was put on hold.... Sorry, they're here!


Kimore - I don't even know what to say.....well I do but the words are not appropriate for this forum 8)
I agree with my homegirl JW, you don't have to stress over no stupid investigation. this is good news! The process should be smooth for you now.

Jam, I see your countdown is on. Hopefully hubby has been out shopping for winter attire for you and you likkle girl...winter has hit with such a force across the prairies already. My poor hubby has stoped believing me when I say that this is not a normal winter. Stopped at the post office on my way in from kingston cos I was expecting a package for my Mom and the post Mistress advised me there is a little brown envelope there for me as well.
well it was from CIC. they are requesting My Original Birth Certificate so I shall be on my way down there tomorrow. its a joy and a pity cos I just passed their office today. but as they say if you want good yuh nose haffi run. so I'm dragging my backside back in kgn tomorrow.
Question does that mean Interview is next ??? clueless here.

Bwoy time a fly by fast. I been running around like a chicken with my head cut off these past couple days.

CONGRATS GODBLESS on the doc request. Not sure if there will be an interview but its always a good sign to get the docs requested this early. If no interview the next step will be PPR.

MIZZY: Long time no see. Hubby has been doing nothing but shopping. I just knew it would be a bad winter just as I land.....lol. FYI Calgary had the second coldest weather in the world yesterday...WTF!


Less than 48 hours to go....Butterflies aplenty. I cant wait to see my hubby.
