It could mean that, yes, which is great. Sometimes it means that the last one you sent them was expiring. Hopefully they were looking into things so it can be moved along. Unfortunately, usually when they ask for more info, they put your file aside until your "Bring Forward date", (date they will recheck your file to see if you sent the info they requested). In my experience the BF Date is usually 60 days. Even if they confirm that they have received the requested info. Hopefully this is not the case with a police check request.

Hi,

Just wondering if you know if when the request a passport the BF applies or does that take a shorter amount of time?

Most people seem to receive their passport back with in 2-3 weeks of KVO receiving it.

no because they will not accept and copy of the police record...... i just email them saying that ottawa requested them from me so go and check with ottawa..... so im just going to wait and see if they reply back to me soon.....

PS. I just found out the the visa officer are new at the kingston office. So they have not got up to speed on ppl files as yet...... They rotate them every six months and the set that working now in kingston just came here during the christmas holiday.... That why things are slow around this time
