Hi all when you send docs to VO.. Do they send email telling you thy have it... I know the courier website will say delivered... But how do I know its on file of ECAS doesn't update

I usually email for confirmation and they always answered

Yes Kingston will get all the proof because they are the ones who actually go through it all and determine if the relationship is genuine or not. All Mississauga really checks is that the application is complete and they assess whether the sponsor qualifies, but the rest is all done at the visa office in Kingston. I have heard on here that if someone sends in a massive package with hundreds of pages of phone bills for example, that when Mississauga goes through it they will make a note on the file saying there were however many pages of phone bills but not actually forward them on simply because the package is too big. But other than that all the proof will be sent to Kingston for them to review

I requested my husbands and kids a2 months before expirying and it was granted

From experience, what is the approximate time frame that I can expect for Kingston to receive my application? Will it update on ECAS once they get it? Medicals were done months ago and they don't say received

The day my application was received in Canada it was sent to Kingston which was April kingston only started processing in June and I am still waiting to hear and it jan ECAS is slow at posting stuff sometimes it takes time hope this helped you.everyones case is different but this is my time frames

Thanks, at least I can stop checking the ECAS everyday like something is going to happen. I was only approved as a sponsor on Monday and I figured it would at least show the transfer to the Kingston office. Meds and criminal done already but the information under my husbands name is so limited

Did they post anything on Ecas yet but like i said they are slow i stopped checking everyday i only check on tuesdays now thats when they are suppose to update

Under my name(sponsor) its says in process even though my part is done and under my husbands name it says application received...

Under my name it says decision made and hubby is in process but it took time to get there.This journey is a rollarcoaster of emotions you would think they would at least update ecas to give us more hope

I can't wait for mine to say that... They give no hope LOL. He did his medical since Sept 2015 and went back for additional tests and it doesn't even show that those have been received. I think I'm just going to hold off and only check on Tuesdays.

Tomorrow morning I leave for Jamaica to see my hubby it's been 8 LONG months since he came here to visit me, now its my turn to visit him. YAY beyond excited!!! I can't wait to kiss :-* his handsome face once I touch outside the Norman manley airport!!! AAHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D SO HAPPPPYYYYYYYY
