Happy new year folks... Is it just me or are the days going by so slow as we wait for news?

I'm just curious, for those of you that have been on the forum for a while, how long after the Xmas break might it typically take for some good news to start coming out of kVO? I know my turn is still a while out, but just seeing the ppr's going out is encouraging.

I'm in countdown mode to see hubby in a month or so... The days go do slow and I have little focus, everyone is do enthusiastic at work to start a new year but I fee in dragging this week.

I think we paid 150$ for my husband and 90$ for his son who was 14 at the time

Thank you all for your answers. My husband called a couple of the doctors and it seems his will be about $130-$150 and kids under 10 are about $65. So that's not too bad. I had read some stories online about paying like $300 per person and that adds up quickly for him when there's three of them that need it.

Hi everyone,** sighhhhh I need to update my forms completed in 2014. Was put on back burner. But I'm having issues...first could not go into my saved docs to update so I downloaded new clean forms imm 5669 background and now the pdf forms cannot be saved with data. I'm completing spouse info as he does not have access to comp and printer. Ideas. I know I need original signed in package.

And update on sponsor assessment it's now back at 62 days, on Sunday it said 10 days.

Well I'm not sure what the price is for a teenager, but the adult price my husband was quoted was anywhere from 11000 to 12200 JAD.

Your husband children are over age 18 or under i know we paid 150

Hello Shorty and thank you for your advice. I am thinking that maybe I will hold off on the police/medical check and send that stuff in once we get it... that way I can send the package and at least get things rolling. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that once it has started processing I will get a file number and then I can send the extra documents to be added?

I have a question about documentation to show the relationship is genuine. I have thousands of pictures, which I'm sure will help. I am organizing them chronologically and putting them into collages. I hope this is going to work well... what have others done for submitting pictures? I think it's much easier to see them all gathered together by event/date rather than printing each picture individually. I read somewhere that they do not want binders or albums or even papers that are stapled together - so what format have others been using when you're sending sooooooo much paperwork at the same time? I want to keep it organized somehow.

When it comes to texts and emails, how do you do that? I have 2.5 years worth of text messages, and I really don't think anyone wants to read all that. What if I took some conversations and sent those?

Hi! You dont have to send all the texts. I didnt send any. Also, you can upload pics from your computer on the case specific page after you have a file number. I only sent 6 actual pics then uploaded a ton!

I know it has been Reallllyyyyyyyy slow lately! Seems KVO is still on holidays. Hubby lands on Friday!!!!! I am feeling so unprepared thought I'd have the house spotless hahaha who am I kidding the hospital has been so busyyy i have been picking up extra shifts to try help out with the nursing shortage so I haven't been able to do all i intended to but It's decent enough. thank heavens hubby is helpful and we can do it together. I'll be off of work for a week and a half. It will be nice to have the time to adjust and help him settle in. I just bought him a winter coat tonight. Haha so strange to think this is the last night I sleep in my bed alone. (I have to work tomorrow night)..so my plan is to get a few hours of sleep Friday morning after work, tie up my loose ends around the house, then head to the airport. I've played this scenario over and over a million times in my head I'm truly excited to see how it plays out! Hubby is feeling a little anxiety about the flight but I know he'll be okay. I will definitely post my landing story!! Can't wait to start seeing some more PPR'S and landing stories! ! I know shortyp posts some updates on how hubby is adjusting from time to time. Would be nice to hear how others are adjusting and settling in( if anyone is silently reading). Still praying for everyone else to hear GREAT news soon!!
