morning all I would just like to say congrats to all who's applications have been approved and also congrats to sara on the birth of her baby. being on this forum as been so good to me because not only have i been getting good information this forum also gives me hope that soon my application along with others will soon be approved. I wish you guys all the best for this up coming holiday season and hopefully 2016 will a prosperous year for us all. God bless you all

What kind of documents did they omit sending? I just had my file transferred and wonder how is it that they seem to not send the full contents of your application.... Another thing for us to worry about, :-[

It was an acceptance cerificate from Quebec that wasnt forward called CSQ which i was told would be forward thank God my husband has it in jamaica just waiting to see if we can scan and email so they can receive it faster fingers crossed

By nature I'm a very generous, understanding and empathetic person... But I can't help but feel a little pain of envy that the first wave of Syrian refugees are arriving tomorrow as PR's with folks like us in an indefinite queue waiting for our loved ones to be allowed in.I don't wish any ill will to these people who must have endured so much in their lives already to get here,I will do my part as a Canadian where I can help and support Canada's call to action to be a good global citizen, but I'm taking a second now, to sit here and pout, cry and fuss about why , with all the hoops we jump through, support network we have access to do I have to sit here without my husband and wait so long... This sucks rocks

I understand your pain as i feel this way everyday the man i love an adore my soulmate is so far away from me. It pains me everyday that our life is on hold and to be decided by a totally stranger no one in this world can know how we feel but God myself and my husband .I am so frustrated with the system

Awww my ladies, i know your pain, trust me. Your hearts are just so heavy missing your love. Before my hubby came I cried so often, and hated life, hated being without him. I couldnt function because I was so depressed. I just lived life day to day. It sucked. But your day is coming. When it comes, trust me everything moves fast!
And then its just crazy! Like a whirlwind!
For me, everyone wanted to meet my hubby, come over, call, text, message, so it was fun! The kids were excited to see him, and he was excited to be with us! I was overjoyed.
Now, he has been here almost a month. He's working, starting to settle, and finding his way around our area.
He takes up most of the bed (even my side). He takes all the blankets. He leaves towels laying around everywhere. He brushes his teeth in the shower (yuck). He takes forever to get ready to leave the house. He wants me to cook all the time. He listens to the tv too loud. Yup, im complaining lol. So its not all great, he drives me crazy, but I wouldnt change it for the world.
Ladies, (and gents), your hard work and determination will get you your greatest wish. It will all be worth it, I promise you. It will happen, just a little bit longer.
Im sending my prayers for you, praying that your hearts are healed by being reunited with your spouses. You all got me thru my turn, and im here for you all. Xoxo

Just to let you know I got back my PP and my hubby and I are well well elated. He is here now in Jamaica and we will fly back together shortly. He is here to help me wrap up the last bits of stuff and also becuz he could not wait (neither could I...)lol

Shortyp, MelJam...thanks for the guidance along the way for all of us as with everyone thanks to all of us who has just been here by virtue of just being on the forum. Shorty pls put me in PURPLE..Yeah!! PP was received on December 1st.

Finally it is practically over and I am hoping for everyone to be saying the same in very short order. Thanks again & landing story coming up as it happens....

So far my eCAS says my sponsorship application is "in process" (no decision made yet ??) and hubbys pr application is "in process" application started being processed Dec. 9, 2015. I'm glad he's being processed, it would still be nice to get my email/letter so I know I am approved as a sponsor.

Hope you had a fabulous time with hubby!!!! I was wondering if you received an email/letter from CIC approving your sponsorship application. I haven't but hubbys PR application is being processed. Wondering if it happened that way with you too. Feel free not to disclose if I'm being to forward.
