Yes you can do that, just do it before they request it so that it doesnt take an extra 2 months or so.

I got married at the RGD in Mobay. The decor was interesting to say the least. Our officiant was awesome though. I loved my ceremony I don't regret having a registry wedding one bit.

Here's a more accurate article http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/refugees/crisis/canada-response.asp it says that the applications for REFUGEES won't be delayed because there will be more staff I'm hoping that "the more staff" don't come from those that would process spousal applications. I've been looking and I can't seem to find an answer I'm going to call cic tomorrow.

I'm hoping more staff means that too. I looked online and processing time went up by 2 days. At least it's not increasing by weeks and months.

it will not be the same at all......but just make sure you let them know if ask if you ever got denied for a visa you tell them yes because if you dont it will be misrepresentation and you will get denied for that straight

If you're just talking about the # they assign you then yes I believe it will be the same one you were assigned when you applied for your TRV. The 8 digit number starting with a 9 right? You and your spouse will both have separate UCI's from CIC for the sponsorship process, but if either of you have already had some kind of contact/application with CIC in the past then I'm pretty sure they will use the same UCI # that you have already been assigned at that point instead of issuing a new one Maybe try checking a few other threads on here just to be sure, but I'm pretty sure that's the way it works!

My baby sis is filing for her husband who is in Canad now. They were told that your assigned UCI never changes. It stays with you much like your social insurance number. So yes your UCI will remain the same.

Well I can't say that all is well, hubby and I are separated now for 3 months....so it is not the story I was wishing but well we trying to work it out now. Will see what will happen!
