I notice on sunkissed814 spread sheet it took 4 month how is that possible where is she from

I've mailed my application to Mississauga November 12/14 and was approved Feb 1/2015 . Kingston received our application Feb 20 at which time My husbands ECAS just said application received Novemver 12/2014 and medical results received. Last Monday finally ECAS was changed to inprocess ..I emailed Kingston to ask if my husband should redo the medical and police check since it's almost a year since they were done . Kingston replied and told me not to mail anything unless they requested it and at this time they have checked our application and all supporting documents and evidence is there so they have placed our application in a processing querie for a VO to determine whether or not a interview is required and if not rest assure they will contact me with the next step ...so stressful ..I did also email my local MP as well as Chris Alrxander the immigration minister of Canada to try inquire and also to see if I could do anything to speed up the process which I already knew I couldn't but this process is just to stressful.. Some people seem to get lucky and somehow have there applications processed in as little as 4 months while some people actually wait the 24 months .. If you pay all fees upfront and do the medical and police check then it does cut the processing time down by 50%....

That sounds like great news! Hopefully your husband will get PPR soon! When you emailed Kingston how long did it take to receive a response? I emailed Thursday so I'm just curious how long they generally take. Thanks!

Hi
If the Police check is expired they will request it for sure. It needs to be valid and it cant be extended. And this is not 12 months it is 9 months... (well last year) But the meds can be extended as long as all the files is in good order soooo even they told u to not sending anything b4 they request something (cause they always say that) I suggest to you to redo the Police check. That's what my husband did and the meds has been extended and PPR 2 weeks after they extended meds.

Meljam you just gave me hope.

The thing I worry about is that I filed before knowing I was pregnant so my papers awnsered no to that question. I have since sent in doctors letter etc but I kick myself for not waiting 2 more weeks to file lol.

Hey guys...so I finally went in process on ecas. Don't know if I shud feel excited or nah.

@meljam wen I did my medical DEC 2014 it stated I was pregnant but I'm still waiting as the rest of us...no fast track for me...maybe I was just not one of the lucky ones. Sigh. Now I have additional waiting time to add the baby to the filing.
