I m Canadian and I m in the process to sponsor my wife from Jamaica to Quebec. We received the CSQ already and we are waiting for the Resident Permanent.
So far the Permanent Residence Application Status on my application is still Application Received : 1.We received xxx's application for permanent residence on June 13, 2014.
Do you know how long (in average) it ll take to process and how long in total my wife will receive the Resident Permanent acceptance in order to enter Canada.

Welcome to JamFam, Im sponsoring my husband from Québec. If you have any question, don't hesitate. You can also take a look on the spreadsheet (link in my signature. You will have a great idea of the delay for everyones on this forum. I will also add you on this spreadsheet. What I can say for now is that some of us who got sponsorship approved in June or July 2014 got throught but pregnancy was involved to fast track process (well that is what we think) . So presently the last person we had news is Charlyn sponsorship approved April 2014 and passport request on January 15, 2015. So maybe in 2 months of before you will have news...fingers crossed!

PS : I suggest you to send a copy of the CSQ via email to Kingston. Please confirm date of sponsorship approval and if u see medicals received on ECAS.

I checked ecas tonight at 10:48pm and it said decision made and the office will contact you. what does this mean. im just freaking out. :'( :'( :'( is this good or bad? I was trying so hard not to check because I was tired of checking and seeing in process. I caved and checked before going to bed and that's what it said.
