Thanks for the reply.. and happy birthday to you!!! So I guess I just won't bother them then haha we sent it in friday after all the b-s with the bankdraft, and it was to be received by 6pm Tuesday evening but arrived that morning and was signed for.. so Tuesday morning they got it.. and we have a tracking # for the way back so I guess I will just continue to do like you do and check the fedex tracking # until it shows me something.. thanks again! I'm hoping with Christmas coming they have a heart for us and get them out... fingers and toes crossed.

Normal decent human beings would have a heart and try to get families reunited for the holidays, but we are dealing with IMM which has an uncaring Minister so why should their workers be any different??!! I think you should at least email them once, especially since you haven't yet, to ensure that they received it and see what response you get.

I got confirmation that a "E._______" signed for it when it was delivered to the High Commission.. so I know they have it.. I guess if we don't see anything by Monday/Tuesday I will definitely contact them. I will give it at least 7 days.. thanks again for all of your kind words and support and help xo

Question do I have to go in Kingston to do the police clearance or I can do it in ochi? Your reply is greatly appreciated

Congratulation to every one who has received PPR and God bless you during this season. Sorry I have been out for while….
This is an FYI ,we just got PPR from POS, the wait was the FBI background check and not the VO. The VO was very quick indeed…
This is a suggestion for whoever sponsor someone that lived in the USA for over 6 month, please do the FBI check ASAP, it took us 14 weeks from we summited the application with the fingerprint, what a nightmare…

Hi everyone, congrats to everyone who recieved good news this week, just an update on my case, my husband's passport was requested on the 6th, his ten year old sons wasn't, after a few days Kingston informed me he was an unaccompanied minor, I emailed then it was wrong and how do I fix the situation, on Tuesday i got an email back that my file was sent to cic mississauga for advice how to proceed and they would get back to me, Mississauga fixed my file yesterday, it was there error, and now I wait for Kingston to tell me what's next...such a frustrating process as they sit with my husband's passport

Note: For your application, you may be required to submit fingerprints. If so, follow these instructions:
•Go to the police station closest to where you live.
•Bring a valid passport.
•Request that your fingerprints be taken on the prescribed Jamaican Police form.
•Advise the police officer that the fingerprints are required for immigration purposes.
•The police officer will affix the Police Station's stamp and seal to the form on which the fingerprints are taken and return it to you.
