I'm back form the dead
I've received an email form Kingston today saying that my husband's app is in the final stage of processing. I'm a little confused about something though; it may not have been wise but we submitted a medical and police record along with the rest of the app last September. On the website it says they've received his medical results but in their email they're asking for him to complete a medical exam. I know he definitely needs to do over a police certificate but is there anyway to clarify if he needs to redo his med exam? And when since did you need to mail the final requested docs to Trinidad?

Congrats for the great news, your immigration journey is soon over !! Can you tell me what they are requesting on the email...only new medicals, or some forms to be completed...!? I will update the spreadsheet with the info ! And can you confirm if your file has been forwarded to Port of Spain or is still in Kingston?

And does your file is in Kingston or Port of Spain....I dont understand why u should send your docs to PoS if ur file is in Kgn...

Your file was obviously sent to POS with a bunch of others in July/August and you just did not know about it. When it happened, someone on the JAMFAM had mentioned that they received a letter from POS which caused a mass confustion and most of us called CIC to find out where our file was. CIC confirmed that it had been transferred to POS for "work overflow" (or something like that).

That is fabulous news Canjam110412!!! So very happy that he changed his mind about going on the cruise ship for another tour-of-duty and will be home with his wife for the HOLIDAYS!! Woo hoo!! Looking forward to your landing story ;D
