The date on the letter is the same day his interview was on October 15 so that means I will miss the 30 days Cuz I'm here till Nov 17 I thought it would be 30 days from when u receive the.letter :( oh boy......Is it easier to just reapply? and i.paid all fees up front don't they owe me back some money then?

post on the appeal thread and see what they say there. It might be from when you get the letter then. ASk there before you do anything else and someone will help you.

You should get back the RPRF fee however if you are going to apply again you need to contact CIC and see if you can use that towards the new application.

Hey guys I just thought I'd give u an update we have received our refusal letter :'(I'm here in Jamaica so I was with hubby when we got his and mine was delivered in Canada yesterday it's a hard time for us but the struggle continues! Now I need to figure out what to do for this appeal I'm so frustrated right now I can't believe how badmind people can really be! Their reasoning was they think he married just to come to come to Canada! If there's anyone on here that's been thru the appeal process or going thru it please help and share your experience so I know what I'm walking into :'(

Lonelymrs that is truly heartbreaking!! Get your appeal in right away. Even if you are in JA figure out a way to have it filed if you can at all. Fight the good battle and WIN! Good luck and remember that the JamFam is behind you!

Do you think I can fax the forms with my signature on them and get someone to mail them in for me?

I am not sure. Try calling CIC or ask on the appeals forum. Someone can help you there.

Maybe if Mrs Davis is reading this she can help as well.

Your best bet is to call CIC call centre in Ottawa and ask them what you can do considering you are not in the country. Maybe notice that you are going to appeal may work???! NOT SURE and totally do not want to give you the wrong advise. The appeal forum may have more insight.

I'm so sorry to hear this news... Hang in there and be strong. You and Mr Lonelymrs are in my thoughts and I'm praying you will figure out a way to get the appeal filed from Jamaica.

I googled "appeal CIC decision" and got this page (among many others)....

http://www.irb-cisr.gc.ca/eng/boacom/references/procedures/pages/processspopar.aspx

I am sure if you look online you will find the right information. Good luck and keep us posted.

Lonely Mrs. Sorry about his news. If it helps, when our common law app was refused, we didn't get our letter to appeal for more than a month after we were told he was denied. So I called my MP who called POS and they said u need to appeal within 30 days of RECEIVING the letter. Send them a CSE and tell them u just received it on X date and plan to appeal within 30 days of this date and send it in asap. Hope this helps

Send them a CSE (case specific letter
