Kingston has requested his fingerprints right? Once Kingston asks him for them he can go to the address on the request and get a full set of fingerprints done there ours said 34/duke street at the criminal investigation branch of the Jamaica constabulary force. You need to print out the letter asking for the fingerprints and bring it with passport to the 34 duke street address. It says its free of charge on the paper but they made hubby pay 3000$ jmd I believe it was. You then will get the fi gerprint sheet from them (same day before you leave) and then you send It In to Kingston Canadian high commission and once they have it they send it to the RCMP in canada. Let me know of any of that needs clarifying Sammy :). The instructions will be on the request he receives. :) hope that helps

Hey everyone!

My ecas finally says decision made but there's no actual decision posted.. is this normal? If so.. does this mean hubby should be expecting his passport back soon?

Also.. does anyone remember filling out a part on one of the forms that ask if the sponsored person will be accompanied by the sponsor? If so.. what exactly does it mean?

Yay!!! Start watching DHL for the pick up of the passport. Hopefully you will get it by the end of the week

As for for form I'm not sure as we didn't need to fill that out

Guys I need help - I have a friend who is not on here and she has been required to do an ARC, which she is fine with

The other thing is they need to do RCMP fingerprints. How does her husband do this if he is still in JA?

Thanks

Sammy just a head up if u don't know, the arc is different from the rcmp fingerprints. The arc is a letter or document seeking permission to return to Canada and the rcmp fingerprints is just to check if he has done any wrongs when he was living in Canada.

Yes I know that thank you. She already did the ARC and was wondering about the RCMP check. She's good now :)

Thanks everyone for your kind words it is truly a blessing to finally end this process but i will still be here to cheer on everyone else.

When you see ECAS changed to Decision Made start watching DHL for the passport return. Ours took 2 weeks to come back.

Update - Alyssa got PPR on the 24th and she with handed in the pp that day or the 27th.

Hun I am so sorry to hear this :( Appeal this and get it worked out in your favor. Just remember the appeal case will take a long time and sometimes its easier to reapply....still appeal though.

I believe you have 30 days from the date the letter was issued to appeal.

Please check out this thread and someone there will be able to help you. \
