But stacy and yqm_fa has the same timeline...files transfered in January 2014 and they are in Port of Spain.

I dont know about Canadianwifey89 and CocoVanilla but from Sept. 2013 only my file still in Kingston.

Hi MelJam,

As far as I know, our application is still in Kingston. I received my notes in mid-September and there was nothing in there about it being transferred to POS. I also called CIC at the beginning of September and the agent told me it was still in Kingston. Have not received any AOR from POS either.

Can you add some more info for me on the spreadsheet? Sponsoring husband, and I live in Alberta.
Thanks :)

Hey DG I don't know what I screwed up on my last post lol......It wouldn't let me modify! Was saying thank you and I'm hoping and praying for the same :-*

hi guys should i be worried

This Family Class application was received by our office after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. Following an initial review, this application was queued for interview and is currently awaiting its turn for scheduling, based on the date it was received. Interviews are normally conducted at the High Commission of Canada in Port of Spain. Once an interview date is scheduled, the applicant will receive an appointment/interview letter approximately four to six weeks before interview.

i sent POS an email last nite the responded this morning but could be he lives in Jamaica

If you applied in Kingston and your file was transfered to POS he should still have his interview in Kingston as that is the office the apps go through. POS is just helping with the backlog

As for the interview...POS is known to interview a lot so I wouldn't be so worried unless you think there is reason to be. I would question the fact that they want him to go to POS. That will cost money that you shouldn't have to pay.

That's good that they are getting to your file. An interview is not necessarily a bad thing. It seems that most people get their passports requested at the interview for stamping/visa processing.

What is your timeline?

that what im questioning the most because thats like $1000 who the hell has that...im not worried about the interview just if its going to be in POS
