I must say the words of encouragement are very sweet and soothing but it really hits home when your due date has passed and ecas has not changed or they have not contacted you for any documents. Hanging by a thread here.

Yes, that would be incredibly disheartening. I can only imagine your pain, as I was part of the winning side of the Kingston lottery. Things moved fairly steady on our application and I am grateful.

For people like yourself and those of you waiting even longer... Sammy, Mrs. Davis... and I know there are others that I'm not remembering right now... :'(

my 1yr was sept 5, or even the 24th when it was picked up i dont mind, so i am very anxious.

has anyone gotten their PC redo done in st. anns? if so how long did it take to get back and how much did it cost? the reason i ask is my husband was there this morning and they wanted to charge him $100 for a 2 week wait or $50 for a 6 week wait? something is up with that as the first time we went to kingston to get it it only cost $40 and we got it in less than a week.....

My hubby when last wk, he has to go to the tax office to pay before he goes to do the PC and i heard the lady myself say $3000, $6000 and $8000 he went Pompano Bay (St. Mary) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8:30 and 10:30 but when he went there 1st(pompano) they told him about $2000 extra for i dont know what but he paid the correct about at the tax office cuz i was like WTH are u tell mi y is my country so teff, he has to picks it up on friday for the 6000 its not 5 day its 7 days dem lie

It's always business days...so it would have been 5 business days not including the weekend. And it's ture....they aren't always ready when they say they are.

My husband paid for the 3 week and tomorrow will be 4 weeks and that is when we can pick it up.

Just sharing something about the immigration money making business...I lost my passport and they know that i had 3 passport before because they can see it on there system pls i had a photo copy of my old passport but that didnt matter cuz i had to apply as if it was my 1st one, i has lost my citizenship many many years before so i had to apply for a copy of my citizenship and when i landing in this country..which i been here before they had computer lolol so you can image.... bwoy did it tak long and they had a time duration which it also went over the time...so if it took long for me i can just image for ppl who want to come here...and it cost me cls to 150 for thing they had on their system

Can you give us your timeline? When you applied - if you have applied yet - and any other info.

No they don't test for that at all. Some doctors will say that they do but they don't. I can tell you this 100% that it won't matter
