Yes. I've noticed his "calmness" which I thought would have ended once he got the visa in hand and it was real and visible. BAH. IM FIRE UP! come oooonnnn!

health insurance question

Does he need to be here when u add him to ur health plan?

Heath insurance all depends on where you live. In Ontario he has to wait 3 months to get his ohip card. You can apply for it when he lands though. If you have benefits through work you can add him to that though. My husband is on mine at work and he isn't even here yet.

Good Morning JAMFAM!!

Someone posted a while back (may have been Cdn Trini) that they opted to get travel insurance for their spouse which was for 3 months and then the Ontario OHIP would kick in. I am planning on getting him the travel health insurance bc am a worrier like that and as soon as I know he is coming I will add him to my health benefits at work as well.

YAY!!! Fllight is booked and baby and I are heading to JA for her first birthday!! 28 days will we leave :) It's been a LONG 9 months without seeing him. This is the longest we've been apart.

So Kingston...now that my flight is booked how about calling/emailing my hubby so he can come home with me. I would really like that and it would be a great birthday present for our princess

Hey yall! Question for you! Husband got a form, and on the bottom there's some info and it says not valid for travel. Anyone else get this? It still has his passport stamped and everything. And visa expire April next year. But can't get a hold of CIC to verify. Anyone help? :D

My husband got that too. those papers you need to land in Canada but they are saying it is not the VISA so you need your passport and the COPR to be able to land in Canada and cannot use that paper to travel anywhere else.
