LDH, unless it is different depending on where you are flying in or out of, WJ does allow you to check an additional luggage for $20, but they are VERY strict on not going over the 23kg each mark. As for the baby issue I guess that they figure since the baby isn't paying a fare then they shouldn't have a luggage allowance either. BUT totally understand and hear you bc where are you going to pack their stuff if not in yours. At least give you the option to pay for a luggage for them too!

Yea second is 20 but i wanted to bring a 3rd piece...they said no... and we cant be over weight because its not allowed..
They say because whenever jamaicans and trinis are travelling they tend to be extra ???
But for christ sake. Im goung for 3 weeks.. my kid uses diapers plus formula... like wth... how stupid is that...

And sammy i always travel with Caribbean airlines but i couldnt get the date i wanted plus hubby dont want me to travel at nite with the baby

They are very strict with JA flights, infants and luggage. You can check an extra bag for the 20 but you can't bring all 3 things for the infant. You can only bring 2 of the 3 for free and you can't pay extra for the other one if you are paying for a bag for the baby. That is why I can't fly them with the baby because I need all three for her.

I am flying with Caribbean Airlines instead. I am allowed 2 bags, baby one bag and all three things checked in or gate checked. It was worth the extra 80.00 bucks difference in fare to book them

Sorry i didnt just booked with them... smh... too much stress

Diapers are about the same price down there. That's the issue I had when I was going for 2 months. I made my hubby price them out and made the decision then to bring them or not. I had an issue with formula but I bought similac down there. It's about the same as here.

It's sucks that JA and Trini flights are like that. Hubby doesn't really want me to travel that late either but I had to do it

Hi Everyone!
I want to say thank you to each and everyone one of you from the bottom of my heart for your words of congratulations.
I am so grateful that I found this wonderful forum family and am not sure how I would have survived this without all of you by my side.
To have a group of people who know exactly how I am feeling and to truly know what it is like to go through this process is a true blessing.

I will probably head to Jamaica around the 22nd of May and then we will come home on the 29th or 30th...Let the countdown begin!!

i just use the website "Tinypic" just google it and it will let you upload a pic and then it will give you a link to post into forums (starts with IMG) and I just copy and paste that into my post and BAM!

Can't wait to see more pics!

Just a little heads up about the pictures... Someone had mentioned b4 , that once you sign up on those sites... You give them permission to use your pictures ( however they see fit), also when you do a google search your uploaded picture appears... Search on google (images)for a few of our JamFam members, you will see... But hey if you don't mind... Picture Days are Awesome
