Good morning kingston family congrats to one and all who have received good nres way to go kingston. ... I have a question hope u all can help ....I have a friend who is getting married this summer she was asking me about the process but thongs have changed since I applied...When I applied I called cic ordered the application package and it was sent to me in the mail ...she called cic and they told her it had to be filled out online now......someone please help on how the process works now...any links to websites will be greatly appreciated thanks

Hi ready.. yes everything has changed.. she hve to follow the guidelines on CIC website and fill out the applications...

If its within canada:

And if its outside canada:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

And it gives guidelines and everything she need to fill, both her and hubby..

Good morning. It will only change to in process once. After that the next status is Decision Made.

We will never know!!!! Sometimes they are waiting for documents or maybe confirmation that the medical is extended If it needs to be.

There have been some on here that had in process for months and month before they got PPR. Other it took a couple weeks.

Usually once you receive in process you get a call in a couple weeks for PPR but then again it's all up to your VO agent who's working on your file.

Same goes with your notes. Some see nothing started and they get PPR. Other have everything completed and are waiting and waiting for the PPR call.
