I made a big mistake when I redid Police checks. I did one Local and one International ??? . Should have done one Local and one for the country I was living in before (another Caribbean Island). The VO called and inform me of the mistake and that I need to get it ASAP as it's the only thing they're waiting on. It's been a mad rush to get it, has put a dent in my spirit.

Josephine isn't back yet. She linked up with my hubby while she was there and it sounded very promising. The VO said they would try and see what they could do to send him back with her.

My prayers are with us all to find completion soon. I feel so blessed to have you all as supports. This is a great thing.

I sent an email to Kingston few month ago to make sure that they received my hubby's application, medical and PC and to ask if we had to send his CSQ or redo something. It took them forever to answer but that's what they've responded:

Your personal information provided has been noted. You may also send the Quebec acceptance and Quebec selection certificate for Mr. cafelatte02 to be added to the supporting documents for his application.

The application is currently in the queue for initial review. It will be reviewed in accordance with its place in the queue for applicants in this category, based on the application received date. Following the initial review, the applicant will be advised directly of the decision or any next steps.

Processing times for these applications are calculated from the date the application is received by the Kingston visa office. The times to first review, interview (if required), and finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received and the individual complexity of each application. Applicants may also refer to our website, www.jamaica.gc.ca, for more information about processing times.

We did send it to them, no news since... Hubby dreamed he got THE CALL last week and I can feel it coming too, only it's not coming fast enough I made him redo his PC to be ready when they request it and to avoid any further delay. I have also ordered the GCMS notes hoping we will see some progress in them.

We keep the faith, we remain positive, strong and face every challenge together.
Our love grow daily. We will celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary in June, our 5th year as a couple in September and I know we'll be together in 2014. It's just a matter of time

Thank you for information, I sent an email to Kingston last week asking if I have to send the CSQ and they replied 1 week later to scan and send the CSQ. So I just did today. Will see what's going on now...

Congrats MelJam. ;D Yeah, now the real waiting beggins. The hardest part is the "not knowing anything part". We try not to expect too much, but after a while it's not easy... I comfort myself with the good news that the Jam Fam is sharing with us knowing that our turn will come too.

Hey guys i have a question... what normally takes long in this process? The background check., the medical.or the realness of ones relationship? Cause i was reading a next thread and a background check can take up to 3 mnths ???
