Carm no passport return for you yet?? OMG what is taking them so long?? Did you need to send them anything additional? When's your bring forward date?? GOSH that must be the longest and hardest wait ever..knowing you are close but still needing to wait!! Hope it is soon!

well we had to do another PC, Med and schedule A. We handed the passport in March 11th and now just waiting. Our date we had to have everything handed in is March 28th this Friday but I am hoping we hear something before then. I would really like to book tickets. I have the week after easter booked off in hopes that he is coming home then. :) yes this is the hardest part of waiting because we are almost done and yet still waiting.

Well the time finally arrived! Here is my landing story.....PPR happened on March 4th and we submitted the passports on March 6th, my ecas changed to decision made on Friday March 14th, first batch of passports that went out on Wednesday morning march 19th, hubby and kids dhl tracker started and he picked them up on march 20th. They flew out yesterday and arrived at Pearson at 6:30 pm and came out to me after 8pm. The wait is finally over, I have been completed exhausted for this last two days but they have been the happiest days I have had in a long time! My step daughter was the first one to notice me when they came through the doors and proceeded to run over and hug me, after hugs and kisses we suited them up in their winter coats and headed to Tim hortons and Popeyes as per hubbies request!
I just want to say thank you to everyone that has been here for me throughout the last two years, you have been my rock and my shoulder to cry on and I will be forever grateful to you all. No matter what u think, the road is hard and long and several times I almost ended it (being truthful here) but the day they are here in your arms, nothing else matters and it was well worth the wait! We still have a long way to go getting everyone settled but time is now on our side and I am not waiting on time anymore! Blessings to everyone T

Woohooo Chickie, so happy for you! We all deserve to be reunited with our loved ones but you've waited SO LONG and did so much for all of us, I truly think that your Karma should have made things way faster for your family's application. But the important is that now they're with you :D ;D :D ;D :D ;D

Enjoy every second of it. All the best for what's to come, wishing you all a smooth and happy adaptation, lots of love and hapiness :-*

LCW, great hearing from after all these years. Yep, still hanging around sending out the odd joke to help all pass the time, we can all recall how painfully slow it passes through this. Good to hear things are going great with you as well. Yep we'll be 4 years fairly soon as well, making plans on moving down to JA within a couple years. Youy take care and say hi to the old gang if you run into them.

Lipstick in School ........

According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints. Every night the maintenance man would remove them, and the next day the girls would put them back.
Finally the principal decided that something had to be done... She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses).

To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required.

He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it. Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

There are teachers...and then there are educators.
