Does anyone know how long it takes for a medical extension to be approved? I am hoping that they have extended my hubby's as his expired on March 8th on the same day as the police check. They requested a new police check, but not a medical, so would that mean they extended the medical?

Hey, did you order any notes, it would tell you if its extended or not.. And I think its 15 months it is extended to...I think.. But someone else can correct me if am wrong..
And that's what I would think too if they didn't request for you to redo them..

It shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks for the expired medical to be extended. I think it would be safe to say that your medical is in the process of being extended or it has already been extended.

Thanks to everyone for their congrats! I am so excited ... leaving in a few hours and a surprise PPR, hopefully they will have the VISA done in time.

I checked on ECAS today CHICKIE and the In process date is actually March 11, 2014 and PPR is March13, 2014.

I got the original Divorce certificate today and will take it with me, and send the receipt of the RFRP in the same envelope.


COngrats to everyone else that is getting through..... March has been an awesome month.
