Well happy Thirsty Thursday everyone. Hubby is on his way to Kingston this morning to drop off the passports and the DHL envelope.....i am sooooo excited! Here's hoping some more people hear something before the week is over! Especially Mr DG! and anyone else in 2012.....( 2013 people i am not trying to be rude but 2012 need to be done and over now )

Exciting news girl!! I keep smiling just thinking about you and how you are feeling. Keep us posted as events develop......what were the reactions of the kids? There must be lots of celebrating at hubby's place. Kingston - get these passports back quickly with shiny visas and finish all of those 2012 folks, we speak it into truth!! Blessings.

Well the girl is truly excited but her mom is excited but scared at the same time.....I think it will be the hardest on her of all of them! It has to be hard to let your child go...i don't blame her a bit for her tears! It would kill me to have to say so long to one of my children. I can't even imagine. The boy is excited but i haven't had a chance to talk to him yet...i called the other night but he was "doing road" LOL Hubby finally slept last night but he was up at 4am this morning raring to go! I have called about 4 time this morning " did you remember this" "did you remember that" LOL finally he said "It's good Mrs Chickie, I got it" LOL alright then!
Well he just called me back well writing this...he is at the high commission but has to wait until 2:30 to go in to drop it off.....mi a go sit under a tree and enjoy the breeze he said LMAO this is too funny.

I have a questions to those that have hubby n wife's that landed in Dec.2013..have they received their permanent card in the mail yet?

My hubby landed on December 25 and he has not received his PR card yet.

He called CIC yesterday to inquire about it because it is past the posted processing timeline. CIC confirmed it has been mailed to the correct address and if he doesn't receive it by April 1 then he should call them back. We are concerned it may go 'missing' because CIC didn't update their records when we sent them a change of address about one year ago. My hubby gave the immigration officer the address on a piece of paper when he landed and it was entered incorrectly into the system. We changed the address through ecas and it took FOREVER for them to update it.

There is a PR thread on the forum and it appears people who have landed in December have already received their PR cards!

It's been a while, but I am back to my new fam here on this forum.. Congrats to everyone on movement with their paperwork. Kingston must have gotten some new management!! haha. Special congrats to CHICKIE!! All the time and help you have given to this forum, well deserved! cannot wait for landing story!

if you remember me from a few weeks ago, my husband got called for an interview for March 12. its updated on the website, however he just got a call few days ago to say it has been changed to March 19th...we are still investigating of course, as you never know with crazy baby-mothers...haha but hopefully I will have a landing story soon to join all the other 2012 applicants.

We have yet to choose a date but it is between the 22, 24 and 29th of this month. We will have to decide tonight. My lurking friend's husband got a call from TARA today that he should pick his package up at 3 so we are thinking that we should get them to come up on the same flight.

You must be on Cloud #9 Chickie!! I am sure it feels incredible knowing your family will be reunited with you soon!!! I can't wait to read their landing story....I'm sure I'm going to be bawling like a baby when I read it!

I also agree that Kingston needs to call all the remaining 2012's! Not only is it WAY overdue, that makes room for us 2013's!
