A special shout out to chickie, you have been an ispiration to all those on the forum and have done an excellent job in keeping the forum focused and sane, well deserved great news for you. As I understand many of you had a few drinks last night, some advice if you need to see a doc today,

oh my gosh girl you made me cry. Thank u for your kind words! If I can make it thru this long anyone can! It has been an up and down battle and I am sure that isn't over yet but the biggest battle is over and the rest will just be speed bumps in life! Hi Jamnic, I am from the Port of Spain thread and my hubs landed Dec. 14, 2013 and received his PR card in the mail exactly 2 months to the day after that, on Feb. 14, 2014. There is also a specific thread on this exact topic called "PR card arrival timeline" and you can go check and compare to some of the other VOs as well. It seems as though people are getting them on average lately within 2-3 months after landing. If it is past 3 months for sure call CIC. Also I went on ecas after my husband landed to update his mailing address from Trinidad to our home in Canada and I saw that the postal code was wrong so I changed it online. No one told me this, I just followed up because when a person lands, the folks at the airport are also "inputting" an address and if a mistake is made there it can affect the PR card getting to the right destination. Here's hoping some more people hear something before the week is over! Especially Mr DG! and anyone else in 2012.....( 2013 people i am not trying to be rude but 2012 need to be done and over now )

SO EXCITINGGGGG!!!!! I think most of us 2013s want to see the 2012's get home to their spouses right away too!! Kingston seems to be on fire, so let's hope they keep it burning!!

Congrats Chickie!!! Sooooo happy that the journey is finally coming to an end and your ticker people can sit down and relax for once!!

I'm behind in all the news but congrats to everyone who has seen some progress lately. It's so encouraging to see so much movement out of Kingston.
