DG I've been working from 10-6;30 and for the rest of week 8:00-4:30 and friday , saturday off and back sunday again... But friday and saturday goin to my next job... No rest for me... Its inventory week... So its busy busy.. I think I partially own this company...dwl

Good Evening I was wondering if someone could help me ?? I want to apply to have my case notes sent to me how do I go about this ?? Its been almost 8 months for me and no change at all on ECAS just says "Application Received" I'm going through the motions lately and just really need to see if they've even picked up my file ! Good evening! I hear you about going through the motions. Some days are better than others. Just remember this process does not last forever.

If you check back less than 10 pages (don't quote me on that) you will be able to locate the information on how to access the notes.

If you go to the CIC.gc.ca home page and search Access to Information you should be able to navigate your way from there. If not come back and someone will probably re-post the instructions for you.

Hi hun.. Nev posted this earlier so I just went through and copy it for you...

GCMS notes (Global Case Management System) are notes that are made on your file. The Sponsor can order them online or by mail for $5 and the Applicant has to sign a consent form. They take 30 calendar days (sometimes longer) to be sent to the Sponsor once they are ordered.

A lot of people order the GCMS notes if they have been in the process (around a year) and haven't heard anything from Kingston. It is also a good idea to order them if you are scheduled for an interview.

Please note: there may not be a lot of information in your notes so it's up to you if you want to order them. Not all visa officers update the system on a regular basis.

I hope everyone is doing well!! Still waiting to hear some news for DG and Chickie!!!

It has been extremely busy since hubby and son have arrived so I haven't had a chance to catch up much. I hope Kingston will be handing out lots of PPR's this week. Everyone deserves to be snuggled up warm with their spouse in this horrendous weather.

As for hubby and I, we are slowly adjusting. It has definitely not been easy and breezy to adjust, poor hubby has been having a lot of headaches, I don't know if it's because of the altitude change or what the reason is exactly but it seems really terrible and pain killers aren't helping. I hope they go away soon and don't continue on. My step son will be starting school tomorrow so I am crossing my fingers that all goes well. Anyways, hope everyone is keeping warm and keeping positive thoughts. Everyone will be with their families when it is time.

Yes. My MP has stated on Friday that everything required is received and cleared, and there are no major concerns. The file is due to be reviewed on March 5th. However, just a few moments ago I went to check and the status is now at "Decision Made". Earlier in the day it was still "In-Process".

Your MP should be copied and cloned. They were really a good source and resource for your situation and file. All the best to you and your wife. Are you going to get her in Jamaica or will she travel on her own?

Sorry to hear that hubby is not feeling to well. This will pass his body is probably getting acclimatized to the new environment and surroundings. I hope he starts to feel better really soon.

As an aside...I woke up feeling so thankful and grateful. Having had a rough weekend and seeing my husband step up completely to console and be there for me (even though he's far away) I realized how much I have....it's an amazing thing to be loved unconditionally.
