I'm thinking it's more likely a few months. Because he won't get his new police check back until march 12 and then he has to courier it in to Kingston who u know prob won't even look at our file until beginning of April. And after that they will have to decide about extending our meds and then request ppr. So although we can see light at the end of the tunnel. We are probably far from the end.

Well, I believe that it will be sooner than that.

When is the last time you ordered your notes? Maybe this will shed some light on the meds question.

Last ordered notes in December. Got them mid January said meds valid until march 25 which is weird since they were done January 31, 2013 so shouldn't they be good until April 2014??? Who knows. I don't know if it's worthwhile to order notes now since I won't get them until end of march. So it's a wait and see thing. But it's already been 11 months + so what's another 2 or so??

It doesn't surprise me that Kingston is not consistent with dates. You are so right about the waiting...this process you are forced to learn how to wait.

Well we all know that it doesn't take Kingston long to actually issue the Visa. Maybe they will ask your husband if he is able to leave the island prior to March. 25. If he is able to provide an itinerary then they will issue the Visa right away with no delays. Hopefully it is not too much longer.

DG when last have you called and what did they say? You've been waiting way past this ridiculous 22 months period so you have every right to harass them. They cant run yuh. Mi waan know what kind of foolishness is spewed when thy're on the defensive. I dnt know why but I feel STRONGLY that they have lost some components for your application.
