Good morning everyone, sorry I wasn't around to answer questions, chickie is off in her own world lately, pissed off and angry and it's better not to be around if you get what i mean! :P

WifeyBT and lovindahubby, i will answer both your questions for you with an explanation. THere was a member on here Waitingonforever and her hubby had an interview and they took his passport. Everyone told her if they took his passport that they were good and wouldnt be denied. What a shock to us all when it turned out they were denied and now she is appealing. So yes they can take your passport and you can still be denied. I have never yet seen anyone's passport taken without an interview, like they are done your file and request PPR and then still end up denying them but as we all know from Kingston they can do anything but in my experience it hasn't happened. I agree that maybe the officers can already have an opinion formed before the interview but it is their duty to pursue all issues during the interview that are causing the red flags in their minds to find out if what they think is real or not. Hope that helps.

Thank you chickie.. I was wondering cause I was reading it in a next forum

Oh, I'm glad I asked

I've been using turbo tax for years and last year I used the free online version. There is a spot on there asking about dependants. You can also netfile for free

Mrs.davis...congrats!!!!

My husband had received a request to redo medicals two weeks ago...a request to have his criminal check redone.
F course its all done and express couriered back.
Now the wait begins again !
I may be dreaming but am hoping he gets the request for passport sooner than later.
The bring forward date was 60 days
Lets hope they work the file again when they received the requested documents.

Chin up. Good news us on the way !!

Thank you for your response Chickie! I do understand how you feel. I've just started the process and I'm so depressed, angry, bitter, sad. You're close to the end hang in there! Blessings

Thank you for the blessings Faith!

Come on Kingston it's a brand new week!

Morning all!

Hello :)

Does anyone know approx how long the sponsorship take place after immigration requests a medical to be done over again.
He first did his medical last year but it will expire soon, from what im reading so far, looks like they will request it again before he travels, but does anyone know if this process is fairly close to the end?
We originally filed in December 2012.

Good Mornign and Happy Monday JAMFAM!!

They will ask how much your hubby made however they have NO way of checking. With my husbands job he's paid cash anyways so there are no tax slips given to him down in JA. I just said his worldly income was 0.00.

They didn't make any money in Canada so in my opinion it doesn't matter how much they make. I believe it's line 305 or 350 something on the tax forms. I can't really remember. If you go somewhere and get them done they will help you or do them online with turbo tax like I didn't. It's super easy and free to file. Plus you get your money back within 2 weeks.

O&O did your husband come back to Canada ;D

soooo, I emailed Kingston asking about if our RPRF has been received and if they require anything else... they actually responded and said:

"Your RPRF has been paid. Your application is in process and you will be advised as soon as a decision is made."

That's all... but to me it's promising, even when it doesn't really say anything at all! lol

At least it wasn't a regular forwarded automated response!!!
