Hubby plays it, but just for fun.. Not for winnings... But I dnt see noone addicted like my sister.. Dwl.. She had the cash pot book and she made a board and write the numbers and then "she read up the man" dwl.. When ever I have a dream I call her and say sis I have a dream.. "Arite, that a 11- young boy, 7 married lady 31 a lizard... Arite ago buy dem fi $50 dwl"

My dad is the same... it's ridiculous. Everyday he wants to know if you have had a dream. He applies to numbers to the lottery here, but when he goes home to JA.... :

@ Chickie... My parents, especially my mother is 'addicted' to Cash Pot, she knows all the meaning of the numbers by heart ...My hubby only plays sometimes :

LOL I know! they know what all the numbers mean off the top of their heads and everything! It is funny to see them all lined up at the booths buying their tickets! Hubby goes by his dreams and by things he sees or if something happens, like if he sees a lizard or something. I just roll my eyes and laugh!

Yeah it was quite the thing...I looked left then right to see if anyone saw me and I was like "Whooo" great no one saw. Then I look straight ahead and Mr. DG and my eyes make four...I'm like "Oh Sh** why did he see". He rushed over and was like..."Babes are you okay?" Once he determined I was okay...he keeled over and nearly dead wid laugh.

This only happened two weeks ago...Mr. DG every so often is like..."babes"..."yes Mr. DG"..."The Hammock"...I'm like good bye Mr. DG.

Good morning. DG your story made me laugh, when I went down to JA last time, I fell out of the bed because the beds are so freaking high down there and my husband laughed his arse off at me, but come time for Cash Pot and he played "weak" because of my fall and darned if he didn't win $2000JA dollars for it. Does anyone elses hubby play Cash Pot too? The men get soooo excited about that thing, basing it on dreams and things they see!

I swear my in-laws and hubby must be the only people I know in Jamaica that do not play cash pot.

I even play and make sure to play Pick 3 & 4.

My Uncle down there do not miss a game...He buys tickets for every draw. Even when his asthma is acting up...he still finds himself to the square to buy his cash pot! lol!!!

Amen. I do believe in miracles. I also have experienced miracles in my life. I was told my son would never walk or talk and be on a feeding tube in a wheelchair his entire life. I was also told, when he was 5 that he would never talk. Today, he is 10, he doesn't walk, he runs, climbs, jumps, kicks and he started speaking at 6. He is my daily motivation to keep believing and move forward. Our God is a good God. Let him bring us our miracles.

So I had to share this that Miracles really do happen.

My friend who grew up here with and also room mated with in Victoria going to school. Her and her husband have been together 5 years and when they go engaged he was diagnose with cancer and was given a year. After almost 3 years and to the point where his cancer stopped growing and he was cured. The past few months it came back 100 times worst they didn't think he would make it to Christmas. Yesterday he died in her arms and she held him saying her good byes. A hour later he came back to life in her arms. Doctors cant explain it.

Since I saw this post last night on her status I am in shock. I believe there really is a god and a good god. She is a strong women and I don't know if I could do what she as done for him.

I thought I would share because god knows what is best for us.

wow - amazing story!! God is GOOD!
I was having a crappy day yesterday - so crappy that I messaged my good friend (while I was at work) and said..let's go to the movies now - I need to laugh! We went..saw Ride Along (HILARIOUS!) and whilst driving home (as usual) I talk to God. I was literally talking and crying out to God about certain things in life. When I reached home, I turned on my TV and without changing the channel literally right across the screen was the scripture 1 Thessalonians 5 vs 16-18 which reads " Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

I was blown away! God has a way of working and moving which is beyond human comprehension - so thankful!

Yes God is good! The 2 tumors that were on his heart are gone. Doctors cant explain it. He is on bed rest but he is doing better then before heart is strong.
