Hi everyone, I am new to the forum so i would like some advice. I am in Canada and is currently been sponsored by my wife, my ecas is currently at Decision Made as i've went through all the prior procedures. I've recently got an email stating that i should pay the ROPR fee of $490 and that i should fax CIC Scarborough a clear copy of my passport, assuming that this is a good sign i am wondering what is the next step and how long will it take for me to landed?

That does sound like an incredibly good sign. From what I have heard, actually getting your PR Visa can take from 2 weeks to 6 months! Since you're already in Canada, you are hopefully closer to the 2 week mark.

Am I the only one that has emailed Kingston and have gotten no response? I applied in feb, file sent in June (based on notes) and I have sent them at least 6 emails without any acknowledgement from them.

I filed in May. Sent to Kingston July. Emailed a few x. Asked if the app was there. Asked if the med was with it. Nothing

hey there, cool on getting to the stage you are at.....not sure how long it will take most of us are outland sponsoring. here is the link to the inland sponsoring, maybe someone can give you a better date over there.

Yea i kno, i was kinda scared to post anything, cause reading all these post and seeing what everyone is going through makes you worried,,...
But is it me or anyone else thinks that from once your application is filed and finish in canada it shouldnt be sent to no other county for no futher processing??? Lol just my thought tho!!! Im just saying.. what sense does it make...smh...bt oh well...kingston need to keep it moving... system just slack!!!

So sorry u didnt get any reply... i message them asking if they received my application and within 24hr i got a reply sayin yes they received it on which date and that it is in queue for initial review. I reply said thank you for ur respond, knowing kingston never reply to any1 emails!!!!
