My hubby has never left the island, no children or previous marriage (for either of us), no criminal record, etc.

A visa officer has the ability to extend your medicals if it's within 15 months since the first medical was completed and it is the only thing holding up the final decision on your application. If the medical is extended then you won't have to re-do your medical.

wow i hope this will happen for me thnks for responding.

There can be other bring forward dates on your application if they're waiting on something from you but you would have to order your GCMS notes to know what they were. The annual due date is not the only bring forward date (unless maybe they haven't touched the application at all...which I have a hard time believing).

Be careful what you wish for, you don't want to end up in my position! :P

I honestly believe I am the only one that didn't receive PPR soon after the medical was extended...

I hope they extend your medical and you receive PPR.

Last night my hubby said maybe we're waiting so long because there is something for him to do in JA before he comes to Canada.

I asked him to hurry up and complete whatever it is!
:D

Mine tells me to " relax " if I had a dollar for everytime he told me that!!!

That is exactly what i mean, maybe someone need his help to change their life around or something, you never know till when it happens and u look back in the future and say oh that's why that happen, happens to me more than once. I felt like my world was gonna end when i broke up with my ex then i have someone that i cant believe i lived my life without him. I wouldn't have met him if i wasn't single.

The worst thing about it is that some were found buried, in un-marked graves and their families never knew what happened to them, they were never told their children were dead. I will only tell my mothers story to close friends and Maddants won't tell as there is some things that is only shared between just me and him. He shows respect to me as he can keep my word. I adore and respect him for this.

Some years ago I read "In search of April Rain Tree" and then saw the movie Rabbit Proof Fences. It gave me a good understanding of the injustices done to the first nation peoples of Canada. I wanted to know more about the Metis and other aboriginal people so I did further research. This search opened my eyes and left me dissatisfied with some of the detail... as they say the devil is in the details. Thanks for sharing. I believe the errors in the beginning of your journey has its place... in time you will find out the purpose for the preparation. I wish you all the best in the rest of your immigration journey. I know what it is like to wait and wait some more. But when it is over you will find joy in abundance. Like the experience of your family's past, this too will pass... a little scar to show the suffering but stronger and wiser because of it. Jah lives!

Hi C&T! :D

Yes, hubby and I are still patiently waiting for the golden PPR phone call.

The bring forward date is called the due date in the GCMS notes and I can confirm that the annual bring forward date is one year to the date of receiving Stage 1 approval...speaking from experience.
;)

Thanks for clarifying my dear and thanks for all of your Joel Osteen quotes :). You are an inspiration to all of us.

Good morning ladies and gents! :) wow you were all busy last night gabbing up a storm! Tuesday morning, bright and sunny, let's see what Kingston has for us today! Come on ladies of the Kingston office, who are you going to call today on the wheel of foreign LMAO We all better have told our hubbies to glue their phones to their ears after Carm's prediction........it is ok that no one got a call yesterday, she said it was going to start Sept 23rd but there are a whole whack of people that have applied that aren't on this forum so some of them must have gotten the call yesterday and surely someone from this forum is going to get a call today! Nev we are getting so close now, I can taste it honey! Hold on it's coming and then you won't know what hit ya!

Good morning every one.
It's been a while since I've posted.
Today is my last day here in Jamaica. I fly out at 2.

Sad I haven't heard anything from Kingston

Three days ago is marked our one year anniversary with CIC
I could mail them a cake, but it would probably take them 8-9 months to "get" to it and it would spoil by then. I probably would never get any kind of email response back saying thank you - tee hee!

It's taken me a while to read through everything that I've missed. But something did catch my eye...

The bring forward date. I've ordered my notes twice. And haven't ever gotten anything from them so I decided to stop ordering them. That being said. I have never seen a Date on those notes that exceeded the day that they Sent them to me.

I'm going to return to packing.
Have a good day everyone and I hope someone hears something soon.

D
