Hi carm_cnd, I am stopping in from the POS thread to offer my sympathies on your TRV refusal. It is disappointing for sure, all the more so as immigration has ridiculous reasoning behind it. Hubby and I have had 4 TRV refusals - all before we were married - and finally just decided to marry and wait out the PR process.

From what I have read on the forum most of the TRVs are refused if the one spouse has not proven several travel and return trips previously, from the other spouse's home country. A real nice money grab for CIC and more torture for those of us waiting. Feeling your pain; however, praying for some good progress on your PR application instead. Blessings.
