does anyone know when I should email my MP? In 9 days our application turns 1!
would it be too soon to write my MP? Also has anyone ever hear of Jamaican MP helping out? my husband is close friends with St.Mary MP he was actually going to be best man in our wedding but got into office on Dec 28th and our wedding was just a few days later on his sign in party.

I cant believe its been a year already as much as it sucks not to be with hubby it still flew by.

Of course you can email your MP but some Mp as some members said they won't do anything unless its passed Kingston's processing time which is 20 months but give it a shot. A MP in jamaica might be of luck I would try that option as well. Time surely has passed quickly u never know u might be getting that ppr call this month and going home in oct or sooner.

I got a call from my husbands lawyer stating he was going to get in contact with the high commissioner to see what's going on with the file. He last got a letter from kingston in June at his office and no word yet so he is concerned. So lets see what they say with his follow up.

Yes I have ordered 4 but one didnt come in for some reason but my last notes came in last week and the Eligibility changed from "NOT STARTED" to " IN PROGRESS" on August 19,2013. That is the only change I have seen so far but you know what I will take it lol

Nope still no change on the ECAS. just showed on the notes

No they don't

If an interview is not required, they will not notify you, they will eventually request your passport and additional documents if needed. You would be able to tell if the interview was waived by ordering your GCMS notes and seeing if the eligibility was passed and the notes made by the visa officer. Although this is an indication that an interview is not required, if something came up in another check further into the process i.e. background check, they can still request an interview.

Well just got an email from kingston wow they are working late. They have answered one of my emails lol about they updated my husbands address back in July when I sent them an email lol.
