I HAVE A QUICK QUESTION... DOES ANYONE KNOW IF KINGSTON WILL REQUEST ANOTHER FBI RECORD? THE ONE I GAVE THEM HAVE EXPIRED LAST MONTH. SO I WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD JUST GO AHEAD A DO A NEW ONE. (IT TAKES 2 MONTHS TO GET IT BACK)

it is mind blowing to look at the spreadsheet and see people that applied around the same time as us or after us that have gotten thru already, you know, their spouses have been in Canada almost a year now! waaaahhhaaaa :'( Sorry am having a pity party for the 2012 waiters today!

I have never dealt with an FBI record or heard of anyone that has but I would think based on facts that no they wouldn't ask for one.

1) it is not your fault that your timeline went over the expiration date of it and you submitted as asked.
2) they can see from your original one that you don't have a criminal record and you haven't been out of JA to go back to the states again so the original should be ok.
3) the only police check I have heard of them ask for a redo of is the JA one because you are in JA and could have a criminal record during the wait while this process is going on so they have to recheck those if they do expire.
Hope that helps, this isn't a yes or no, just basing it on facts!

I called the dr and they were the ones who told me how Medicals are handled. They don't send Medicails to Kingston. All medical reports go to Ottawa and then Ottawa send it to different visa offices around the world. Did some online digging and found out that to be truth. So the dr sent all the medical reports to Ottawa. The file must have been lost between Ottawa and Kingston.

Also..... Was reluctant to type this on here but here goes. I emailed kingston regarding an update about 2 weeks ago and the same lady called my husband and was less than happy about the email I sent. She told him that she has a lot of files on her desk and could have put it at the bottom of the pile . I was so pissed when he told me what she said but have to realize that truly they had the power and we have none.

So hence my reluctance to email them again. It seems if you piss them off the dump your file at the bottom fi real and screw you over.

So now we just sitting waaaaiiiiitttttinnng ........ Driving me crazy not knowing what the hell they up to and the delays caused by someone incompetence. And can't do a damn thing but wait.

I almost sent an email yesterday and something told me not to. I'm leaving KG alone and will continue to wait until they request something from my hubby. Even though my application has been sitting at the bottom of the pile for over a year....
