We had similar problem-- my husband did his medical in February in Kingston. Then they found a lesion on his rib (often can be TB) so Immigration Doctor, sent all the medical to immigration. We followed up with a Cario Thoriac specialist and husband was operated on in March in UWI Hospital in Kingston. They removed the rib and the tumor on the rib (it wasa not TB, but was a TUMOR instead) Then Immigration sent him a letter end of April that he needed to go back to immigration dr. He went back to Dr, who wrote a letter that it was not TB and that my husband (the patient ) had followed up with surgery and specialist. In May, the ECAS changed showing MEdical Recieved, but there has been nothing since then.
In the meantime, he needs more medical woprk done, and it is too expensive in Jamaica. Surgery and medicine cost nearly 3000.00 Canadian. Hopeing he gets here soon, because he has been referred to have an MRi and that is 850.00 Canadian. Pray for him to soon come!
Thanks
Joanne
