Hi everyone just got back from JA, was hoping to read some good news from folks but it seems like Kingston didn't make a lot of progress this weeK.
With the biometric, does anyone know if you get the fingerprint done at the VAC??? Do u pay the $85 Canadian dollars at scotia??? This is kinda of annoying it's like they just want more money

Welcome back Flowers; yes we are all still waiting and staying strong on our prayers :D

Sorry to hear that Carm; but as you say back to work; and hopefully you hear positive news soon. :)

I agree with the backlog because they have my friends's passport since June waiting on a TRV and she has heard nothing.

For all this money that Canadian High Comm is charging for visa processing they are lacking in efficiency and professionalism.

Yea if each person could finish one application per week they would make 1000 per person each week maybe even more.

Thanks Kadi, it is nice being home in some ways the flying back and forth is starting to get really tiresome and finiancially draining, I think it really stresses me out I am now starting to realize. I don't understand what it is about Jamaica that takes soo long like what are they doing

come on kingston ;D we all could use some good news now. its sure is quiet in here ???

Heard back from Kingston this afternoon at 3pm making it 5pm in Jamaica. I wrote them last week. here is what I got back

Hi carm_cnd, sorry that you didn't hear anything new but at least they did answered you back :D

I sent them a first e-mail a month ago to know if they received by husband's application from Ottawa and they have never responded. I sent them another one on Tuesday hoping that they will answer me back this time. I understand that it's a long process, but to be able to through it, I would feel more secure that the file didn't get lost on its way there... Keeping my fingers crossed

If they take their time because they are stamping visa for our Jam fam, then I'm willing to wait a little longer :P

Have a good week-end everyone and may God bless some of us with good news next week, it will surely lift up our spirits and give strength to all of those who have waited for way too long.

Feeling so good kingston is hard at work now please send all our husbands and wives home. These 4 months I'm excited for a lot of 2012 people will clear out.

hey can anyone tell me if we need to include in our sponsorship package the forms that dont apply to us.. like additional dependants? not sure if there are anyone other ones.. do we just send them in blank or not have them in our package?

If you have no additional dependents (sponsoring spouse only) then exclude any forms that don't apply. No need to confuse the issue.
