To tell you the truth I have no idea, Probably because we have been married since 2002 and just doing the immigration thing now. And the reason for that is I didn't think I could sponsor someone on a disability..come to find out YEARS later it was possible. Everyone told me you could not sponsor your spouse if you were not working and me not looking into it further took people's word for it. And I was blessed in being able to sponsor on a disability. That's probably why..Immigration was probably asking (why now)

Hello everyone!

Can someone tell me what day in the week does Kingston accept passports? ? ?

Do you mean when can you drop it off in Kingston or when can you send it by DHL?

Let's not make Nav's bright Good Morning go to waste!!! Positive thoughts bring positive results.

Let's claim what we want in the Lord's name and believe it to be true.
I pray some more good news comes forth by the end of the month!

Does anyone on here have any experience with applying for a study permit while you are waiting on your PR application to be processed? My hubby was accepted to school here for September, but since processing times aren't likely to get him here in time, I wondered about whether this will hurt our application for PR by applying for the student visa.

According to posts on this thread from 2012, passports can be dropped off at the Embassy in Kingston on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1:30pm and 2:30pm. I haven't seen anything since then so it may have changed. I would think you could courier your passport via DHL with a return envelope any day of the week. Personally, I would clarify the details with KG when they call you for your passport.
